Mullineux Syrah, Swartland, South Africa 2019 Macon-Villages A blend of 65 perWith fruit sourced from 7 sites some on granite based soils, some iron rich and some schist, Mullineux's pure Syrah offers a wonderful snapshot of the diversity of the Swartland. The perfume is beautiful high notes of violets, mulberries, spicy orange rind with star anise and clove, and a seamless palate with more dark fruits, black olives and cured meats, like walking into a fancy Italian deli and a sprinkling of pepper. So persistent in the mouth
