Drawing inspiration from the legend of Maui potiki, who captured the sun to extend the light of the day, this desk lamp is a beautifully crafted piece by master carver Salzmann (Ngati Toa Rangatira). Salzmann, who has dedicated 10 years to the art of Maori carving, is based in Pukerua Bay, Porirua. His work can be found on display at various locations
