Lycoris traubiata Buttermint Texas Native Plants 25" wide foliage(aka: Lycoris x elsiae) Lycoris x traubiata 'Buttermint' is a natural hybrid surprise lily a cross between Lycoris aurea and Lycoris radiata var. pumila, imported from China in the mid 1990s by Dr. Jim Waddick. This clone is so exceptional we've given it the name Lycoris 'Buttermint'. The 20" flower stalks emerge from bare ground in mid September (NC), topped with clusters of 6 7 narrow, ruffled petalled, light creamy yellow flowers, which mature with
